At the end of the summer of 2021, I was given an opportunity to be a Creative Director for a local cannabis dispensary at was just starting out! Quickly my responsibilities involved everything to do with the brand, a one woman marketing and design team some might say. I had quite a bit of creative freedom with most projects, as long as it stayed with in the “Great Gatsby” style and appealed to the wide range of “stoner” audience. In the year I spent there, I had taken full charge of the company’s social media, texting platform, in-store displays, TV graphics, menu design, and alternative logos. My marketing strategies and designs I brought to ReLeaf Alternative helped create a brand foundation and structure for this extremely competitive industry. ReLeaf started with ~50 customers a day by the first month they were open, and by the time I left, they were seeing ~500-600 customers a day.
